I'm often dispensing blogging advice, and even though it's hundred percent unsolicited it must be needed as I see people arriving at my blog through Google searches on how to become a full time blogger. They're obviously keen to get away from the rat race and be their own highly creative and happy boss, and I salute you unknown persons! I hope you find your way to doing what you love full time.
I've been completely clear that although blogging full time is incredibly rewarding, it's not at all easy, and involves doing way more than I ever did when blogging was just a hobby. Those that have the desire to live that freelance life shouldn't enter it lightly, but even with all the passion and drive in the world it pays to be fully prepared and know absolutely where you stand in terms of finances. If you're going to rely on your blog for full or part time funds, you need to know all about taxes, insurance, business accounts, and managing your expenses. It's a headache and a half, the kind of things you don't need to worry about when you work for a company because they deal with all that stuff and just hand you a monthly payslip. Luckily, the financial wizards at Premier Business Care have made a downloadable and completely free guide to help bloggers navigate everything from registering as self-employed to expert tips on managing that freelance income. They have even thrown in some blogging tips, and advice on managing the work/life balance, which is incredibly hard when you set your own work hours and rely on them.
This is a fantastic, easy to read guide, better than any books I've seen published on the subject, and as it's free you can save any bucks you'd be spending on a book. This is a short, to the point guide and has everything you need to know. I was really happy to collaborate with them on this not-for-profit venture, and so have some other bloggers you might recognise! So, whilst this post title was complete clickbait (sorry), and I'm not sure how you can get Zoella-level millionaire rich with your blog, I can point you in the right direction of how to get realistically started.
