Grey And Yellow Stationery At Paperchase

If you hadn't noticed with my new blog banner, I'm having a bit of a grey and yellow moment. I have for a while actually, well over a year. These two colours have been peppering my wardrobe, my bedding, and little bits and pieces I pick up for the home. There's something so stylish about cheery yellow paired with sophisticated grey, but they have to be the right shades, not too dark, not too neon. One of the lovely gifts in the Paperchase blogger Christmas event was a voucher to use in store, so as soon as the mood struck I ventured in to pick up some pieces - and unsurprisingly wandered out with a grey and yellow haul. 

I probably don't need any more notebooks - said no one EVER! How can you go in Paperchase and not pick up a notebook, it's what they do best. I love the A6 grey notebook with yellow elastic band tie (below), the perfect handbag size for those of us who still actually write things. Like in olden days. 

This A5 bad boy (below) is more of a stay-at-home and look fabulous on the desk kind of deal, although I could quite happily walk around with this tucked under my arm like a clutch bag. It's so vibrant and pretty! I'm loving the copper (or rose gold?) paperclips too, part of a copper (rose gold?) desk accessory collection that I want to make mine. 

The greetings cards are incredibly cute, that owl has really made me smile - and he comes in a pack of six so you can make five other people smile too. I love the idea that someone would send a card ordering someone to love, laugh and live, and that it's grey no less - very chic. I'll be keeping these for myself though, they're the perfect thing to pin near the desk for both colour accents and inspiration. Do you ever buy stationery in one theme or colour combination? Or just go and get what you ever the heck you want? I'll just carry on enjoying my grey yellow (grellow?) moment for now.
