Charlotte Tilbury Exagger-Eyes Palette

 After missing out on Charlotte Tilbury's Pillow Talk Palette (why can they never make these popular palettes part of the permanent range? Sigh) I knew I couldn't pass over the Exagger-eyes palette, which is also weirdly called the Bigger Brighter Eyes Filter palette depending on where you buy it from. This lil' quad is designed to make your eyes look wider and brighter, with added sparkles that are perfect for the festive party season. To be honest I pretty much bought it for the bottom left shade which is one of the most intensely pigmented taupes with gold glitter I have ever seen. The swatch (below, third from top) does not do it justice. It's wet-look, high shine heaven, and is the easiest way to look party-ready with minimal blending and fussing. They recommend using the creamy matte mauve-brown to define the crease, and you can also put it under the eye for a smokey look. The palest shade goes in the inner corner of the eye to make it look bigger and more awake, and I love how soft and it is. The gold-champagne shade is the weakest link, it's okay... it's a bit meh and seen-that-done-that. I probably won't use it as much as the others tbh, but I absolutely LOVE the others, so that's fine by me. If you get an opportunity, try that bottom left sparkly shade, it's one of my favourites of 2018.
