Reduit Boost

At home LED face treatments are all the rage at the moment, but if you haven't got the money or space for an LED mask, the Reduit Boost is a great alternative, and it offers more than just light therapy. This nifty little gadget, which comes in a range of pleasing colours (this one is Lime, though I'd say it's more of a minty green), is charged via a USB cable it comes with, and has one simple button on the front which you use for all the settings. Its tiny size and drawstring bag means you can easily travel with it, and each charge lasts for ages.  The ring on the top has four different lights - orange to target dull skin, red to work on fine lines and wrinkles, blue for banishing and preventing acne, and green for uneven skin tone. As well as using light therapy on your skin, it vibrates (well, it pulses with electromagnetic technology if we're being precise)  to push your skincare products deeper in to the layers of your skin. Apparently, rubbing your creams and serums on with just your fingers is not nearly enough to push those products in to where they can actually make a difference, so the Reduit Boost will literally boost your products for you by helping them sink in as you gently and slowly move the vibrating light around your face. There's a timer for each section of your face - the vibrating will stop when it's time to move on to the next part, so you spend equal time on each cheek as well as your forehead/nose and chin/jaw area. You can go even further by registering your device with the online app, enter all your skincare products and it will advise you on which lights to use with which product and how often - like your own little robot dermatologist.  I've been using the Reduit Boost every day for a month now, and I'm so happy with the results. You can see as soon as you've used it your skin is instantly glowing in a way that just rubbing products in manually doesn't achieve. The gentle pressure of the products being massaged in with vibration, combined with the LED therapy does exactly what it sets out to do - boost your existing skincare and make it work harder for you. You can use any skincare products with this tool, there's no hard sell to make you use a matching serum, and you'll find your products last longer. The gift of soft, clear, refreshed skin would be amazing for anyone for Christmas, so I highly recommend this as a present if you've still got friends and lovers to buy for. The Reduit Boost is usually £179 but is currently on sale on their website for £89.50. I was kindly gifted this one by Reduit to review.
