Spectacular Kids Show

 It wouldn't be summer in London without some outdoor theatre, so I couldn't wait to take my niece and nephew to see Spectacular, performed by Tiny T's Theatre -  an adorable group of bubbly female performers with singing voices like angels. Spectacular is a warm-hearted storytelling show, based on a kids' book (available for sale at performances). The message of the show is that families are super powers, and even in tough times they can work together to achieve amazing things. There's music, audience participation, puns and puppets - a brilliant show that the kids loved.  Iris Theatre in the garden at St. Paul's Church in Covent Garden is stunning - a magical space full of wild roses, bunting and fairy lights wrapped round trees. They had to contend with the noise of helicopters overhead, and the street performers on Covent Garden's piazza, but we felt this provided some Edinburgh Festival vibes (not the helicopters, those are just typical London sounds).
