Dungeons & Dragons

Paramount very kindly sent me a copy of Dungeons & Dragons: Honour Among Thieves to promote its July DVD and Blu Ray release in the UK. And then I had two months of technical issues whilst I swapped blogging platform… So here we are, a very late review (though I did post at the time on Instagram Stories about this, and got a very excited response from people saying they already loved it, or wanted to see it).

Based on the game for nerds (just kidding!) this fantasy blockbuster is absolutely perfect family viewing. We watched it on a family holiday, and whilst the dragons might be a bit too scary for smaller kids, there’s something for everyone, including lots of action and comedy. And the hot guy from Bridgeton.

This is definitely one of 2023’s better action films, and you certainly don’t need to know anything about the game to be drawn into its world of magic, monsters, sword fights, and Hugh Grant on dastardly form. I highly recommend if you have family gatherings coming up and can never decide on films that will please everyone.

My copy of Dungeons & Dragons was gifted by Paramount Pictures
